This section gives a brief overwiew of the most frequently asked
questions about Paramotors.
What is a paramotor?
A Paramotor is a motorized paraglider, which is worn like a backpack.
It is absolutly self-contained and needs no other tools. It is designed

How do I start?
The paramotor is foot launched from the ground. It takes no longer
than 10 mnutes to get ready.
After removing the paraglider chute from its bag, you lay it out
behind the Paramotor. Then start running and in combination with
the wind and the prop blast the paraglider chute is brought up overhead.
Using the throttle you will gently lift off.
How is the Paramotor steered?
You steer it by using hand controls, pulling left will make the
parachute turn left (right to go right). While in the air the Paraglider
wing will turn proportionate to the amount of pressure you apply
to the hand steering controls.
How is the paramotor transported?
The paramotor is easy to pack and not very big. It can easily fit
in the back seat or trunk of most cars.
You won't need a truck or trailer to transport it. Hier Foto
What kind of gas and oil does the paramotor
need?
All paramotors run with normal gas. They use air cooled, 2 cycle
oil that is available at any gas station.
Where can I start and land?
Landing and take off require only ten to fifteen feet space, which
can vary depending on pilot's experience, weight and weather conditions.
That means you can use the paramotor wherever you want. When properly
trained, the landing is as soft as taking one foot and placing it
in front of the other.
How much training do I need?
The minimum is a 2-day training. Although it depends on the ability
of the student, but it won't take more than 4-5 days.
Do I need a driving license?
No, there are no requirements by law, but however we recommend a
minimum of 2 days training.
What is the maximum wind I can fly in?
Beginners: steady winds of less than ten mph.
Experienced: no more than fifteen mph winds.
The maximum recommended pilot weight should not exceed 225 KG.
How long can I fly?
The average time is 1 to 3 hours, but this really depends on the
pilots weight and wheather conditions.
How fast does it fly?
Maximum speed is 25 mph.
What happens if the engine stops?
Directional steering is controlled through the Paraglider canopy,
therefore not dependent on engine power. You are already under an
open parachute that comes down 6 to 10 times slower than those used
by skydivers.
